Wanzl · All trolleys
Trolleys from
in three groups, by the job they do
Wanzl splits its trolleys by what the customer has to push — everyday shopping on the sales floor, bulky or heavy goods a basket cannot take, and shoppers a standard trolley does not serve well enough. Pick the group that matches your store first, then choose a size within it.
Choose by what has to be pushed
Two trolleys that look alike can be built for completely different jobs. A wire basket for everyday shopping carries load quite differently from a steel deck made for drinks crates, and a trolley that has to take a carseat has requirements of its own. The three groups below are split by the job, not by size.
Supermarket trolleys
Five models for the sales floor. BT and EL hold 74–239 L and are built to the European standard EN 1929. SALSA takes a plastic basket that can be ordered in your brand colour, and CT-20 and CT-Basket suit convenience stores and small formats.

Four models for bulky or heavy goods that will not go in a basket, from drinks crates to flat-pack furniture. Load capacity runs from 200 to 500 kg.

Three models for shoppers a standard trolley cannot serve — Trend with a toddler seat, BabySafe for mounting an infant carseat, and a trolley for customers in a wheelchair.

Once the group is settled, the variables left are capacity and bay space. A larger trolley lets the customer pick up more, but it also takes more room in the trolley bay and in the aisles. Our sales team can work out the number of trolleys and the bay space from your floor plan before the quotation goes out.
